Samuel Harry Kirk, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Kirk and nephew of the Hon. R.B. McCrory, died at the Sherman House in this city on Tuesday morning aged 25 years.  The deceased formerly studied dentistry with Dr. T.G. Bristor, of this city, and about one year ago went to Wheeling, W.Va. to practice that profession.  Several weeks ago he was taken sick with typhoid fever and returned to this city to his parents, who are boarding at the Sherman House, preparatory to starting for California in a short time.  After his arrival he rapidly grew worse until his death resulted as stated.  The funeral took place this afternoon at four o'clock.
